The tare weight is clearly marked and the openings and draw strings are easy to use.My one complaint ishow heavy the bags are. Not in the hand, but on the tare. The biggest bag is almost a full ounce in weight. That isn't an issue where stores sell bulk or at farmer's markets. But at a store where they don't typically deduct a tare weight, that's adding an ounce to your produce.So the bags arw a bit on the heavy side, BUT they are fairly sturdy and smooth open and close. The drawstring does also tend to unknot so keeping an eye on that is important.
