It’s plug-and-play no software needed.Good quality sound for Video conferencing, online training, and listening to music.Compatible with many windows operating systems.What else is there to say, it’s been working for 2+ years now.Great find, great buy!I serve as IT tech-support on my job for a number of years. I couldn't be happier with the results and how they reached out to me after my purchase.At first, it seemed that this adapter wasn't working. The mic wasn't picking up, but the volume controls on the adapter were working. So, frustrating. No one could hear me on the PS4 or the computer. Then, I realized the connection was loose on the 3.5mm side. I discussed this with the seller when I was contacted, and they immediately sent a replacement. But there's a tremendous amount of static for recorded audio on my Mac. Same mac with the same headset and there's no static when using the internal jack.
