I gave it 4 stars because although I found a way for it to work for my size door opening the design would pose a problem for openings that are smaller as there appears no way to easily cut it down. As it was, the item was too long to mount inside the casing area of my doorway which is 30 inches. Since I could not mount it in the casing area or on the door trim which was curved, I ended up affixing a thin flat trim board above the door trim and then mounting the beaded curtain to the board.
