There is a gap on the top, bottom and side edges between the front cover and the inside housing and it looks very cheap. You would think that it would have a much better fit for the money. This should be a $250 fireplace, complete ripoff. Definitely not worth $1,850. We did't install the heating wire (no need for heat here in Florida). The remote control which came with the system did / does not function; we are using the main on/off switch and that's ok. For an electric fireplace, it gives a great glow and people who've seen it - love it. Could not be more please with how our stone wall / fireplace turned out!
