These have been such a good introduction for my kids to classical music and classic stories. Our kids have loved these since about 4 years old. They both recognize the music elsewhere when they hear it and can tell me the names of the composers. We also love the illustrations. Wonderful books! The books can wear if not taking care of. The music clips are perfect length to get an idea of the songs. Illustrations are cute. My kids are 6 and 7 and both enjoyed it a lot. My one sadness is that the illustrations were not in my opinion very reminiscent of the ballet. And that makes me a little sad because the sets and costuming are so beautiful. But that is a personal opinion and the illustrations are still very cute. We love these books so much! Well worth the purchase. They have been looking at the pages over and over, and of course they love playing the songs. The back of the book has lots of educational highlights about music theory. The illustrations are also beautiful.
