It was important to me that we find something light, hard to break, and non-plastic for my baby. My 8 month old can’t hold them by herself well enough to drink from them yet, but she is beginning to understand the concept of drinking from a cup. I have paired these with universal stretch silicone sippycup tops to make it harder for her to spill liquids and eventually she will be able to be fully in charge of carrying it around and drinking from it independently. They are lightweight, sturdy and have survived a couple of drops onto the hardwoods.
