But I took your question to men Can I individually turn on & off each light? Then: Yes, there is a common wire lead (Black) & 3 individual leads (1 for each color G/Y/R) so, depending on how you connect them, you can have all 3 on at once (NOT prototypical) or any 2 or just one at a time. You could switch them manually with 3 SPST switches, all the way up to automatic signalling w/sophisticated electronics. These are well made, good looking & reasonably priced signals. I have found Evemodel products to be excellent values. **Q: Will these leds light with 3.3v or 5v ? if not, would it be easy to swap out the leds for different ones?** A: I power all three lights with four AA batteries — I harvested a battery pack from a miniature LED strand. Also, I set up the light wiring with red the nearest to the batteries, yellow a little further away and green the furthest (hoping that resistance would help balance out the brightness of the three units). I had to put on my bifocals to just see the wire ends. There could have been a better description of the light functions but when I wired to the diagram Green/Red, No problem. The yellow light seems to be a rogue, or maybe its my wiring, but Green turns to yellow and red turns to yellow+red.
