     This is a very good looking singing bowl in a nicely styled zip case, along with a wooden striking hammer. It makes a nice sound (see video) but needs to be placed on a hard surface to get the best resonance from it. It makes a great gift for the yoga or pilates lover, but would be fine just as an ornament, or perhaps even for use as a musical instrument.I was impressed with the quality and weight, too.

This singing bowl is excellent to start with for the Zen meditations and yoga practice I use it for. Sound is good and clear for the purpose, it is important to have the bowl kn the right surface to achieve tge right soind. Carpets, tables and palstic surfaces are not ideal. The singing bowl comes with very nice storage box as well.

Bought as a gift for a friend who is getting into incorporating mindfulness time into her everyday and I think she will be very happy with this. The bowl sits in a nice red and gold round fabric case, which also gives the bowl some protection.
