## Description

This Whale Gusher® Galley Mk 3 Freshwater Galley Pump is a reliable and easy to use foot pedal-operated freshwater pump ideal for use in small galleys. It installs easily and offers multi-directional inlet and outlet hose connections so it can be installed in a wide variety of spaces. It is powered using a foot pedal with a smooth double action, which leaves the user’s hands free. It self-primes and it can be operated dry without damage. It is ideal as a backup to an electric freshwater system, and can pump fresh or salt water. This pump features a durable Acetal and nylon pump body, an LM6 aluminum alloy lever, and a Nitrile® and neoprene diaphragm. It also has stainless steel fasteners. This pump delivers a maximum output of 4 gallons per minute. It has maximum suction lift of 7 feet, and a maximum discharge head of 10 feet. It is suitable for connection to Whale Quick Connect 15mm plumbing and 13mm (1/2 inch) flexible hose. Whale designs and manufactures reliable marine water system products which are easy to install and use; providing boaters with hot and cold water, waste management and durable bilge pumps for peace of mind.

**Q: This picture shows gp0551. is it really gp0550 or the gp00551?**
A: It appears to be the gp0550 (right hand).  The gp0551 (left hand) is the mirror image of this with the connections on the left.

**Q: How long is the warranty?**
A: 5 years

**Q: Right hand side?**
A: Pump handle extends out in the front.

**Q: The photo shows a left-handed pump, but the listing text says it’s for a right handed pump. Which is this product, left or right?**
A: The one I received is the opposite the photo shows.
  By thevway, as far as I remember, it is possible to disassemble these pumps and reassemble them putting the lever to the desired side.
