Review: Great toy, best for ages 5 and up! - I purchased this carwash set for my 3 1/2 year old, and absolutely loved playing with this set. That said, I had to ultimately return it because he still lacked the dexterity to operate the spinner component of the carwash (the blue reservoir where the car splash lands). He enjoyed turning the water tower faucet which fills the carwash "bath" with hot water, that turns the color changer cars' color. He also enjoyed operating the turn mechanism of the yellow dryer rollers. We used the toy indoors, and yet, a minimal amount of water escaped the toy and landed on the floor, but it was so easy to clean up with just a single paper towel. The toy has a removable dish that acts as a reservoir to catch water droplets and splashes. Anyway, I had to return because at 3 1/2 my son was not yet able to utilize the spinning device which holds the icy water to change the car color yet again. This was a main feature of the toy, and instead of him doing it, I always had to do this part, and also fish out the cars as they got stuck inside of it. Not fun...so, this was a deal breaker for me though I'm sure it would not have presented any problems for a slightly older child. Anyway, I still highly recommend the toy, as it's made well, has a great concept, and is a good quality standalone toy. One additional thing to beware of though is that the Color Changer cars cost more than $15 each!!! Yes, you can use your regular Hot Wheels cars on this, but they won't all fit. The Color Changer cars are slightly shorter than the others, and that leads to them getting stuck in the cold water reservoir mentioned earlier. It's easy enough for an older child to fish these out (though it's probably frustrating), but not a younger child. Anyway, just be prepared to shell out major $$$ to build up your Color Changer car inventory!
Review: Excellent product and value - Excellent product and value my son loved it

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where can I order replacement parts? I’ve lost a piece to this set.**
A: Off Hot wheels web site

**Q: What is the height after assembly?**
A: The assembled dimensions are as follows: 25.6" L x 19.7" W x 23.6" H

**Q: Where is this toy manufactored?**
A: In a factory ... run by elves.

**Q: Is this going to make a huge mess if used indoors?**
A: To be honest, it depends. The way it was designed was for minimal mess and risk; there are fill lines for where the water goes up to and pouring out the water is also easy as sections were designed like pitchers where it's easy to remove water. There IS risk for mess though because underneath one of the sections is a small cup that can fill with water (that is supposed just refill the container at the top) and one of the roads out of the spin section can head out of the toy. It's not that it's super messy, but little kids will understandably make a mess just because they're little kids.

Excellent product and value my son loved it

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The directions matter
*by L***2 on January 31, 2019*

My kid loves this! Too bad it was a Christmas present and he hasn’t been able to play much with the water in it. We put a towel down the first day so he could get the full experience. It is messy, but hey, it uses water. As for the reviews that the spinning part doesn’t eject the cars... the water has a full line that is very hard to see. It’s about two cups or so of water. If the water is below that line it doesn’t work very well. However, once I filled it to the right level the water swirled and pushed the cars right out.
