Maybe some good paint, and paint before install. Also trim is oak, not sure about outdoor use with the trim. **Q: I have tile floors. Will these screws work on concrete?** A: I drilled trough ceramic tiles with special drill. I have wood floors. If you have concrete below you will have to use a hammer drill and specific bits and screws vor concrete **Q: What is the outside diameter with the wood trim peices installed?** A: The molding installed add .781" to each side of the post.
