Red lumpy clay - very hard, represented by plates a few millimeters thick. Clay shards at first crackle when biting off, then soak and slightly stick to the teeth. The taste of wet red clay bricks and iron.

Review: Rich and Creamy (not for me) - No grit at all..... to hard to chew but dissolves immediately upon contact with saliva into a creamy paste that is a bit overwhelming for my senses..... the texture alters the flavor into a deep muddy clay flavor that I don't favor..... the only way I can appreciate the petrichor flavor I'm looking for is to lick this product, it also gives that pleasant aroma when soaked in water

The pieces I saved I baked and it was still not to my liking, very bitter and the texture was like the clay you would use for a molding project not to eat. Just my opinion maybe other people are looking for this taste and texture.

Read carefully description before purchasing this item! Wasn’t what I expected but ended up enjoying it very much. It didn’t have much of a smell. The quality was pretty decent.
