It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, and if you are liberal enough with application, it outperforms regular deodorant. Bacteria cannot grow in this stuff and sweat doesn’t stink without bacteria to create the volatiles. Lastly, some will worry that this has aluminum in it. There’s not much sense in worrying because the body is bad at absorbing aluminum even orally. Absorption through the skin is basically non existent, and it’s part of a larger molecule complex. Don’t lick your armpits and you will be ok. Personally i prefer the large spray bottles they used to make with a large crystal block of alum you could refill, but this is small and handy. Price keeps increasing though and if that keeps happening I’m just going to make my own so idk if you are listening Crystal but there’s a ceiling for what I’m willing to pay for alum water in a tube.
