Review: Good, inexpensive phone - Purchased this small flip phone for my elderly mother. The phone was easy to setup. Just installed the Mint SIM card and phone worked without any issues. After a few lessons, my mother felt comfortable enough to use the phone on her own. The calls sound loud and clear. The refurbished phone may not have a lot of features but is inexpensive and very user friendly. The battery life is adequate, compatible with the service provider (Mint) and appears to be well made. The phone looks brand new and worth every cent. My mom and I are very happy with the phone and performance.

It's getting harder and harder to find decent feature phones. Most on the market are either cheap pieces of crap or can only be used through a specific carrier. But this one is great. It has every feature he needs, but the user interface is clean and simple. Even my dad was able to learn it quickly. This phone DOES NOT come with a new SIM card. Since my dad's old phone had a different size SIM card in it, we did have to take it into T-Mobile to have his phone number placed on a new SIM card that would fit this phone. However, that only took about 10 minute and T-Mobile did not charge for the new, smaller SIM. If your old SIM card does fit in this phone, you just pop it in and go! Uses a micro-USB charger. Holds its charge quite well.

This phone is not unlocked and does not work with all carriers as advertised . Buyer beware! Rendered useless! Tried to call technical support and was caught in an endless loop! Have never had a problem putting sim card in and having it work. Needs some type of unlock NCK code .... very bad experience. Bought in October as a back up phone for elderly person. Not even worth the one star given.
