If using as a filter change flush I add 1/2 can, drive for a few miles, then drop pan change fluid and filter,then add second half of can with proper amount of recommended fluid. I have followed that procedure for years on various makes and have had no problems. When you get your oil changed, you can ask the service station to put it in. No guarantee they will actually do it.
