Used other seam tape - only to have it swell/bubble/peal with sun/heat. This seam tape seems to be 10X thicker and is much easier to apply. If you're seaming large pieces of EPDM rubber together - pay the extra price and purchase this 6" (minimum width you should use) seam tape. I pieced 4 - 10' X 35' 90mil pieces side-by-side (soffit to soffit - middle over the ridge) on my regular pitched roof. Used Lotte's adhesive between metal and rubber w/ a 4" EPDM rubber overlap. Next, used double-sided butyl tape between 4" overlap. Finished with (first - the inferior seam tape) this seam tape. (Using Acetone or Xylene to clean all areas where butyl/seam tape will be applied.) Will finish project with Henry's White Silicon Roof Coating. (Again using Acetone/Xylene to clean EPDM before application.) If you don't want to do the "white roof coating" route - just buy WHITE EPDM 60mil rubber roofing.
