The thick velvet wings are almost 1/4-inch thick. You'd need garden sheers to cut these things, so they won't be wearing out soon. The neck collar is delightful on its own. So the bottom harness straps that goes under their arms can easily be cut off. So now it's just the neck strap that holds it on him. He tolerates it more that way.
