Review: It is exactly as described and it works as hoped. - The hardware is made of punched aluminum painted non-reflective black, and is unlikely to ever break. The strapping will wear out first. The non-slip elastomer on the strapping is quite effective. It feels like Urethane rubber. Added later: The adjustment buckle creeps during use,causing the belt to loosen. It would be helpful if that buckle were modified to greatly reduce creeping.
Review: Seems to do exactly what it is advertised to do. - Only used once, so I can't make any statements about durability, but it worked as advertised. It took a few mins to dial in the tightness of the strap, but once I put it on, and then put my suit pants on, it did not seem bulky at all and I do not think that it could be seen that I was wearing an extra item. It put it so that it would be held in place by the belt for my pants, and it was comfortable. After a while, I forgot I was wearing it, but I definitely liked that I was not retucking my shirt all night. For what it's worth, I do not think that this would work well with a shirt that is not meant to be tucked in, so make sure that you have a short that is cut long enough for standard tucking. Also, I wear my suit pants at a regular rise. If you have a low rise cut to the pants you're using this with, I am not sure it would be comfortable.
