Review: Great resource filled with interesting activities - Using everyday household ingredients and equipment, the activities are interesting with mathematical, social, scientific and writing links, usually a combination. Author talks about teaching this basic 'goodness' to our kids and even though we are sometimes dysfunctional families and may not be able to enjoy all of the activities together many activities take a few minutes but incorporate a lot. A variety of activities allow for use in the classroom, in the home, in the car, at the beach etc. One of my faves is the 'Love Eggs-periment' which combines a number of learning experiences including social - caring for people and scientific - adding salt to water makes an egg rise from the bottom of a glass.

Using everyday household ingredients and equipment, the activities are interesting with mathematical, social, scientific and writing links, usually a combination. Author talks about teaching this basic 'goodness' to our kids and even though we are sometimes dysfunctional families and may not be able to enjoy all of the activities together many activities take a few minutes but incorporate a lot.
