It has been an total life saver since I went Vegan - it is hugely versatile, tastes incredibly delicious (the "cheese" sauce I've made with this is BETTER than any "real" cheese sauce I have had in my life!), its very good for you (its packed with vit. b12), and above all its cheap! I have been using it almost everyday, and I am still (just about) on my first container. Even my non Vegan friends and family love it, and have been asking where they can get some - it is just THAT GOOD! Review: Great product - Vegan gold ## Features - Gluten free - No added sugar - No artificial additives - This is a 3 pack ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B079N9S3LR | | Age Range Description | All Ages | | Best Sellers Rank | 21,968 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 19 in Nutritional Yeast | | Brand | Marigold Health Foods | | Brand Name | Marigold Health Foods | | Container Type | Canister | | Country of Origin | United Kingdom | | Cuisine | Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,719 Reviews | | Diet Type | Gluten Free | | Item Form | Flakes | | Item Weight | 400 Grams | | Item form | Flakes | | Item weight | 400 Grams | | Manufacturer | Marigold Health Foods | | Model Number | 15689 | | Number of Items | 3 | | Number of Pieces | 3 | | Number of items | 3 | | Package Size Name | 3 Pack | | Package information | Canister | | Part Number | Kebonds | | Set Name | Marigold Engevita Nutritional Yeast Flakes 3 Pack | | Size | 100g (Pack of 3) | | Specialty | Suitable for Vegans | | Unit Count | 600.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Marigold Health Foods - **Item form:** Flakes - **Item weight:** 400 Grams - **Number of items:** 3 - **Package information:** Canister ## Images ![– Marigold Engevita Nutritional Yeast Flakes with Protein & Fibre, 100g (Pack of 3) – Vegan Cheese Alternative, Gluten Free - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71p69Zs7n1L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you let me know if this is non fortified and no added synthetic folic acid. Thank you** A: There is no mention anywhere of synthetic Folic Acid or being fortified. I take it it is not. Ingredients are : Dried Inactive Yeast only. It mentions No artificial additives or preservatives. **Q: can you make bread witht this?** A: Nutritional Yeast is used in recipes where a cheese flavour substitute is required, particularly in vegan recipes. It adds a depth of flavour and is a source of fibre and vitamins for vegans. It is yeast that has been dried and deactivated and therefore unsuitable for use in making breads. **Q: Is this nutritional yeast drum dried or is it dried using hot gases?** A: I just googled your question and it said it is roller drum dried. **Q: What is the nutritional contents of this product and is there any added B vitamins** A: No, actually this one is better regarding vitamin B. The blue one has fortified vitamin B meaning that it is highly processed whereas all nutritional yeast is high in B vitamins anyway so you should avoid the fortified (blue tin) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have item for Vegans!! *by D***S on 21 September 2012* I absolutely adore this product. It has been an total life saver since I went Vegan - it is hugely versatile, tastes incredibly delicious (the "cheese" sauce I've made with this is BETTER than any "real" cheese sauce I have had in my life!), its very good for you (its packed with vit. b12), and above all its cheap! Even my non Vegan friends and family love it, and have been asking where they can get some - it is just THAT GOOD! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by F***S on 5 June 2026* Vegan gold ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hello Cheesy...where have you been? *by ~***~ on 19 April 2021* Going plant based was tough I really cannot stand any of the vegan “cheese” 🤮 My pasta dishes were sadly lacking in flavour & consistency 😐 I have used this nutritional yeast as a pasta sauce (sometimes with blended butter beans/cashews or pesto then add to cooked pasta) oh my what a difference it makes it’s savoury, slightly nutty & cheesy hmmm a bit like my mum jokes. Resealable lid 3 years sell by date - 2023 (I bought August 2020) as long as it’s stored in a cool dark place it will keep even though it’s been opened, I was concerned I bought too much as the tubs look super big. Full of nutrients I’m so happy with this product & I would definitely purchase the savoury version again. 😊 ## Frequently Bought Together - Marigold Engevita Yeast Flakes 100g (Pack of 3) - Marigold Super Engevita with Vitamin D, 100g (Pack of 2) - Marigold Engevita Yeast Flakes with Vitamin B12-100g, Pack of 2 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/82584368-marigold-engevita-nutritional-yeast-flakes-with-protein-and-fibre-100g](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/82584368-marigold-engevita-nutritional-yeast-flakes-with-protein-and-fibre-100g) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
