Sounds like you have taken the top lid off . Try unscrewing the inner lid anti clockwise . It can get a good seal sometimes so don’t over tighten . **Q: Has this be re-engineered so that the top doesn't burst off? I've had three up until about 3 years ago, but they have all been liable to bursting.** A: Although we have sold a huge number with no issues, we are aware that a few years ago we had problems with a small batch.
