Is it liquid enough for enteral use by syringe.** A: Hi Macca - My husband has had a feeding tube since 2011. We use Benecalorie for additional protein. It's a dense liquid that needs to be thinned with about 2-3 oz of water and should be mixed with another product since it's so concentrated. We mix it with Boost VHC for additional nutrition. Does it have any taste?** A: It does appear to do that , theres so little of,I mix mine with a concentrated protein drink. I make this into a container that I add some water to and pot it into the peg tube. **Q: would this change the flavor of chicken soup? Would it visibly thicken it?** A: If it was a small bowl or cup it would definitely thicken it and change the flavor. I don't think I would put it into a broth, but that is just me.
