Princess Hyacinth has a problem: she floats. And so the king and queen have pebbles sewn into the tops of her socks, and force her to wear a crown encrusted with the heaviest jewels in the kingdom to keep her earthbound. But one day, Hyacinth comes across a balloon man and decides to take off all her princess clothes, grab a balloon, and float free. Hooray! Alas, when the balloon man lets go of the string . . . off she goes. Luckily, there is a kite and a boy named Boy to save her. Arrived promptly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Interesting. *by A***U on 6 February 2014* Bought this as after hearing it was alternative princess story for my daughter. Intriguing concept which had my daugher trying guess what was gonig to happen next. The text is large enough for my four year old to read and not cluttered, to the point where it becomes overwhelming. Very good artwork also helped to keep my daughter interested and invested in the story. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/82658882-princess-hyacinth-the-surprising-tale-of-a-girl-who-floated](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/82658882-princess-hyacinth-the-surprising-tale-of-a-girl-who-floated) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
