## Questions & Answers

**Q: What does the 6 Ch. Direct mode do?  I only hear audio coming from 2 speakers.**
A: 6 Channel direct mode is for the analogue connections only. As long as you have the 3 wires hooked up correctly and your source configured right (your sound card, presumably) it will output 6 channels of audio. If your computer is only set to use 2 speakers for music or other stereo sources, you need to open up your sound card's control panel on your computer and play with the settings. You will never get surround sound out of one 1/8 wire, however, so a phone or MP3 player will only use the front 2 speakers (you may want to try using the Stereo x2 effect setting to duplicate the stereo to the back speakers on the Logitech head unit).

**Q: Iam looking for a replacement 10in. woofer for my logitec 5500 and would like to up grade ?**
A: Mine blew so I replaced the sub with a DS18 10" sub and and transfered the amp to a sub woofer box built to specks and the bass is even louder and deeper now but the sub is a dual coil sub dual 4 to be exact so I wired the sub parallel to make it 8ohm so the house and even my neighbours hear and feel my bass and the satilite speakers I replaced them with faital pro 3" speakers thats is really loud and clean I did a full modification and my system is badass now

**Q: Does this system include hdmi ports and RCA jacks?**
A: No, there are no HDMI ports or RCS jacks.  There is one coax and one optical input plus third PC connection (3 wire). I ran this off my BlueRay (optical) and my Tivo (with an optical to coax adapter).   TV had 2 HDMI inputs, 1 ea. from the Tivo and BlueRay player.  THX sound is great.

**Q: What cables will i need to get this system up and running on my hdtv to play my xbox one??????**
A: I do not own an Xbox One but I do have an HDTV connected to my Playstation 3. The Logitech Z-5500 is connected to my HDTV from a single Optical cable. Look for an Optical output on the back or the sides of your HDTV. The Optical cable is not included so you need to purchase this from an electronic store like Best Buy.
