I was so sad that Matrix was no longer offering their Mega Sleek Iron Smoother spray, because it was my go-to. I've tried so many other heat protectant sprays, and wasted my money because they weren't a good substitute. I finally decided to give this product a try, even though I prefer a spray or mist application. This is a really good product, with my hair being shoulder length and not very thick, I only need three pumps into a palm. I then rub my palms together and apply this to my hair when its wet, from mid-hair shaft to ends. I either blow dry or allow to air dry, then use my flat iron. This does help to tame frizz somewhat when I blow-dry, but I still need to use the iron to get the least frizz.
