It looks really good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I ordered a large because I wanted to be able to layer it over blazers and thick sweaters, and I can easily do both with some room to spare. I would say the sizing is pretty true to American sizes, and it's long enough to cover my butt. For reference I'm 5'5'', and weigh about 125 lbs. I live in southern California so it's warm enough for me. But if you live somewhere with snow, you could layer it over thermals and sweaters, or one of those packable down jackets and I think you'd be quite warm. The only drawback, and the reason for the four stars, is that it closes with three hook and eye closures that are a bit fussy and don't seem very secure. I can imagine they would often come undone as you're moving around or climbing into a car or whatever, but that's not a huge deal to me.
