ALWAYS stand the paint with the fat end down, with the label facing you and readable, remove the top cap by unscrewing it and the brush will be facing down into the paint, unscrew the bottom to access the foam brush with the clear coat. do NOT hold the paint with the label upside down or you will spill everything when you open it. Just applying paint will look better than the scrapes, but not very good. Get fine grit sand paper and sand the surface flat first The color match will be so close you will not spot it afterwards. I sanded with two different grit sandpaper, applied gray primer, and let it dry for 24 hours before applying the first coat of paint. Let it dry a good amount of time, because the first coat of paint will tend to liquefy if you apply the second coat too soon. The paint is actually quite thick, so be aware that when you start the painting process. This paint goes on easily enough and dries fast. I like the included clear coat. This touch up paint doesn't hide the scrapes and dings on my truck but it makes the damage look much less obvious.
