The manufacturer says it lasts up to 3 months. I get through each bottle in around 2 months. I generally use it in the morning after washing/bathing and evening before going to bed, and sometimes during the course of the day if my eyes hurt from using the computer - so 2 to 3 times per day lasts around 2 months. **Q: Can this be used while wearing contact lenses** A: Sorry, I don’t wear contact lenses, my eyes are just too dry to tolerate them. It does say lens friendly on the box and you spray it on closed eyelids rather than in the eye, but I really couldn’t say for certain that they are ok for contact lenses. **Q: Is product applied to open or or shut eyes?** A: OPTASE.
