I found 16V DC power on the original circuit board which I used for the power source. I removed the green screw connectors for the speakers and soldered directly onto the board to get it to fit.It sounds as good as the original Bose amp (when it did work). Plus, this unit has bluetooth 4.0 that works great with my phone. I will definitely buy this again.Note for other hackers, the center pin on the power connector is positive. It did not come with instructions but the description says that if you wire the power backwards it will burn a chip. I guessed, center pin pos. and got it right.I only gacve it two stars for Easy of use becuase unless you are sticking this into a case that is designed to contact the push buttons it's NOT EASY TO USE. It sounds great though and I just leave it on all the time and don't need to mess with any of the controls as I just stream music from my phone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent deal for a plug and play Bluetooth amp, but not perfect *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2019* Bought this to use in a DIY Bluetooth speaker. Decent price and decent volume out. Worked easily when supplied with the right amount of electricity and wasn’t very complicated to figure out. Some downsides are that if you get too far away while connected to Bluetooth it locks the chip up and you have to power cycle the whole thing to be able to get sound again (and the range isn’t as good as some other Bluetooth devices I’ve used). You also can’t (as far as I can tell) easily edit the Bluetooth display name, password, or details (the chip makes a sound upon powering it up that I wish I could disable). ### ⭐ Dead on arrival. The right channel didn't work and the board got really warm when powered on. There was also a very bad smell that was coming from the board while I was testing it. The audio out of the left channel was very poor with alot of crackling and buzzing. The startup sounds are also very loud.
