So far, this has been an excellent buy. I've cut my hedges faster and with less effort than with either of the other trimmers. It is lightweight, at least compared to my petrol-driven machine, but it still requires a reasonable amount of effort when the arm is fully extended, although part of that may be age-related! It's very manouverable and I am able to reach a lot of low-hanging branches on trees. The battery-life seems good so far - up to half and hour and very quick charging. I put it on charge while I was clearing the cut branches and it was ready for use when that job was done. I have a large hedge at the end of my garden which is made up of several types of plant including holly and conifer, plus some really hardly thick stemed bushes I don’t know the names of. This piece of kit cut through everything with relative ease. Hedges are about 8ft high and easily managed across the top. Battery didn’t die once or any drop in power. The extending pole is great. It was also easy to put together. It is heavy but I’m a 5ft 4 woman and managed all the top and sides with a few breaks in between.
