I started taking the three recommended capsules a day and promptly caught a cold. I stopped taking them when I was sick and got better in a few days. Then I took three again and immediately caught another cold.I did some research and it turns out that taking too much fish oil can actually lower your immune system. To stay on the safe side, I reduced my intake to one capsule a day and will gradually work up to the recommended three.
