Do you plug it in?** A: Yep, you plug it into a 110V outlet just like all you other small kitchen appliances. You pots/pans will need to magnetic for them to be compatible. A quick way to test the pots/pans is to place a magnet on the bottom surface of the pot or pan, if it sticks, it is compatible, if not, it won't work with induction heating. I really like mine.
