My controllers looked fine but I didn't want to take a chance on them wearing off. These have been great, very comfortable. For the most part I use the smaller sized ones, especially the more convex shaped set but I guess some people like the taller ones. I could not get used to my thumbs being that high. This pack comes with something for everyone though whether you like the taller ones or the shorter ones and for this price I don't think you can find a better deal. I have used them quite a bit since I got them and they seem very durable. The only negative is now the set I mostly use will rub on the controller slightly when I push the sticks all the way forward. It does not have any effect on gameplay but it does make a faint squeaking noise. The only time I notice it is when I play games with the volume low.
