I would have to wait for certain times of day to take photos so that the light was entering the window the way I wanted, and those times of day were always changing with the season. My photos were blurry because I was having to set slower shutter speeds to get the effect I wanted. It was very hard to get uniform photos because the light was so changeable. I spent a long time in post processing (Lightroom Classic and Photoshop) to get an accurate color match. Now, I am able to have consistent, controllable light whenever I need it, and from two sources, which means I can control the shadows if needed. I usually just use one light and a white bounce card because the softbox does such a good job. I don't need to worry about any light reflections because of the diffuser screen. The bulbs included are super powerful. If I could change one thing, it would be the ability to control the brightness of the lights, but that's a tiny thing. It's easy enough to get the effect I want by changing the distance between the light and the subject. I have also found these to be endlessly useful in social media marketing videos. It's much easier to make tiktoks/reels when you have a big source of good light! And since I wear glasses I like that I don't get the circular ring light reflection I used to spend so much time avoiding. Even if the softbox is reflected in my glasses, it looks much more natural, similar to a window if you're not paying attention.
