The description is therefore wrong and should be ammended. I had no choice but to return the hedge trimmer and purchase the one with the battery and charger included.The battery that did not fit was from a 6 year old pole hedge trimmer.11.06.20I have the new hedge trimmer with the battery and charger. The charger does look a bit cheap and is not the same as the one sold as extras . But it does the job and charges my old battery. But.....the new battery does not fit in the old charger. So.....customer beware13.06.20Trimmer stopped working after 15 minutes use.
