Had a duffel bag with plenty of life left in it, aside from a broken strap. Ordered this replacement, thinking that the 2" strap would be more comfortable than the thinner strap that existed on the bag. It is... mostly. My problem is that at 5'6" tall, the adjust ring is EXACTLY at my shoulder when the bag hangs at my hip, my preferred bag location. That's not comfortable at all. So I've lengthened the strap and wear the duffel lower. The duffel is used infrequently, so its not a true problem, but a word of caution. Overall, the quality of the strap is excellent, with strong metal hooks and adjusting rings.

Strap has 30 inch MINIMUM length.  At its shortest length, or even medium (which would make the strap way too long), the grip material is covered up.  That negates the entire reason for buying this strap.  Its expensive.  A lot of money for something COMPLETELY USELESS.
