**Q: One place states 8.5" & another 8.75". Which is it? And what size skillet would this most closely fit?**
A: It is 8.5" it fits a 10-12 pan.  I like it you can even use in bigger pan and put in the middle.I love this product.  This is the better deal of all I found price wise.

**Q: How tall is this from base to top of handle?  I would still want to use a splatter screen**
A: It is approximately 3 1/4” from base to top of handle.   A domed splatter screen would work.

**Q: Does the handle rotate or swivel or is it secure, so the press doesn’t swivel when you pick it up?**
A: It is secure...does not swivel or move.  The wooden handle stays cool but the cast around it gets HOT!

Seasoned and stuck to all instructions but with light use 1-2 times a month the cast iron has broken within 9 months. No contact details for warranty either.
