They were very comfortable and required almost no ... *by T***P on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2016* I have worn Bates for years and will probably continue to use bates. However, I could not find the color I wanted with Bates so I figured I'd try something new. I received them and was very impressed. The color was exactly what I was looking for. Also, they are very light. The Bates boots I usually use are heavier than these but I never really felt that mattered. However, after wearing these for a full weekend, I would say it makes a big difference. Also, I am usually used to breaking boots in. I received this and almost immediately took them with me on a trip. I wore them all weekend and spent most of my time walking/standing on my feet. I didn't get any blisters and my feet were fine. They were very comfortable and required almost no breaking in. The only feature I like better on the Bates is the side zipper, but I'm not so lazy I can't tie my shoes, so it wasn't really a big deal. It also does seem to be fairly water resistant, as it rained most of the time I was wearing them. There was no leaking and my feat kept dry. I haven't fully submerged them in water yet, but as previous reviews have said, they are not water proof, and I'm pretty sure water will get in. I can't speak to how long these boots will last, but they do seem pretty durable. I would definitely recommend these, especially for military/law enforcement, or if you just need a good pair of hiking boots. I am a Bates guy all the way, but when I need replacements in this color, I will most likely buy these again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ love my boots *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2016* love my boots..i am a woman..i bought theses boot 1.5 sizes smaller than normal..perfect fit..not bulky not heavy...fit great..easy to walk in..i love them..my son is a soldier and i am on my feet all day in a warehouse and had lot's of foot pain..my son suggested these boots...i was concerned about the military style of them, but they look great and feel great and good bye foot pain!!!! buy them!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Boots Overall *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2016* The water resistance is better than we thought it would be for someone who works at a carwash; but if you do work around water, they would need to be water proofed further because that's not what these boots were meant for. The insoles are very comfortable, which is impressive considering my husband has one arched foot and one flat foot.
