Maybe, but I do know they last at least two years, which is much better than any other replacement battery I've used. They are reasonably priced. Given that we have five different handsets around the house, I keep some spares as they seem to hold a charge and will accept a charge even after leaving them in a drawer for a year or two. I prefer to use my cell phone, my wife prefers to use the uniden handset with the speaker.
