Harness does have extra wires but nothing that can't be figured out. Just a heads up. The red wire from the car doesn't work. I should say that it's not the most straight forward process. I had to connect the red wire from this and my radio harness to a brown accessory wire under the steering column. A lot of extra wires to cap off so don't worry about extras.
