The feathers weren't super dense but still looked great in person. The photo is true to how it looks in real life. This a good headdress and much more intricate than I expected for the reasonable price.The hat was a one size fits most kinda deal. It was slightly loose on a small women's head but it sat well and was comfy, so it didn't bother me unless I started head banging too much. I decided to place the order and was happy that it arrived within a few days in perfect condition. It was so beautiful I didn't ever want to take it off. I have a pinhead so I was concerned it would be too big.. Which it was however I followed Jay's instructions and stitched the hat part up as much as needed and it worked out perfectly.
