Review: Very strong and well made - This 1/2” stainless steel shackle is a thing of beauty. It appears the shackle and pin are made from ½” stainless rod which means these are similar in strength to a forging and that is exactly what you want in a shackle. The drawn rod is so smooth it appears to be polished. I bought two of these to use with my off road vehicle. My winch hook and tow strap hooks need a ½” shackle to fit through the openings and these fit perfectly for that. Plus they are stainless steel so they won’t rust. If you need a ½” d-ring shackle, you’ll be happy you bought these.
Review: heavy duty and solid...fantastic - i have this hooked up to a large box anchor and it takes a beating and shows no sign of use whatsoever. the threaded bolt has not budged either and hasn't yet needed to be tightened. I have no concerns throwing my $250 anchor in the lake and wondering if it will come back. solid shackle and highly recommend

This 1/2” stainless steel shackle is a thing of beauty. It appears the shackle and pin are made from ½” stainless rod which means these are similar in strength to a forging and that is exactly what you want in a shackle.
