Given the low cost of the product, I assume that this is a product quality issue. The overall build quality isn't great for a license plate cam. The plastic is not high-strength and on one side cracked when attaching. If the product were made with a higher strength ABS plastic this wouldn't be an issue, but instead it uses low cost plastics which won't hold up well -- and in my case did not.The seller also continues to send emails asking for feedback, but indicates that they prefer reviews not be posted which are negative and instead to reach out to them directly and give them a chance to address this.
