I'm no pro but I have handled many knives in every price range and I have to say this knife offers one of the best bangs for your buck out there. Unboxing this rascal was a pleasure itself but when I took the handle in my hand it immediately felt like an extension of me. The blade came scary sharp and continues to hold an edge contrary to reviews I've read regarding its Rockwell rating. This knife is well balanced with the perfect amount of heft that proves to provide a stable platform for chopping,dicing,slicing etc.. My opinion is that this knife is perfect for all the duties it is intended for weather you are a professional or a Youtube certified professional (i.e. home chef) this a great value and perfect addition to any cutlery set. Unless you have little tiny rat claws for hands this knife is one of the best I have handled at any price point and if do not prefer a European style knife well the seller also offers several options esp in the Japanese style..Just buy the damn thing it will not disappoint unless you are one these people who are overly and unjustifiably critical of everything in which case you should spend thousands on a cutlery you probably cannot wield anyway.
