Wok is fine, you just have to pair it up with the right ring for you. I got the Whirlpool Part Number W10216179 Wok Ring for mine as it fit the burner grate on my stove best. Wok nested in it perfectly with no stovetop sliding.

I finally got a stove that can handle a true wok, and wow, what a difference.  I've had non-stick, flat-bottom woks, which are fine, but this thing really does the job, and, no teflon harming the environment.  Great product for a reasonable price.  Just follow the directions closely to get it seasoned.  Taking "giftable" rating down one star--nothing wrong with it, but you'd have to know the receiver.  Some folks--my wife for instance--can't handle how cast iron and steel pans should be maintained.  Briefly--never, or very rarely, use soap or detergent, and, if food sticks, reseason the pan.

I have a gas range with a wok support grate over a high BTU burner.  So I wanted a round-bottom wok.  Very pleased with this sturdy wok that is evenly shaped with good thickness.  This made it easy to season (good instructions on back of the wrapper).  During my service years, I spent a lot of time with Thai soldiers and learned to cook with them.  So now retired, I want to get back into cooking some of my favorites.  This 14" wok is the right size for 2-4 people, and I am already gathering all the ingredients for some great meals.  If you have a gas range, and a wok ring or grate, you will find this a terrific wok.  A great value too.
