My mom has a lot of nice stuff, so I wasn't sure if she would be all that into the idea of a new necklace that someone else picked out--but i thought the idea behind it being from her grandkids was cute, so we went for it. I hadn't opened the box before I wrapped it so i hadn't seen any of it and was nervous it would be orange and look cheap or something, but I gotta tell ya, for $11 or whatever I paid, it looks and feels expensive! The rose is bigger than I thought it would be, and heavy enough to weigh the chain down so you dont lose the rose and tag decoration around the back and sides of the chain. And there is a chain extender too and a wipey cloth too! I was pleasantly surprised by the "extras" included. We'll see how it all holds up over the next few weeks, but she's been wearing it for 48 hours straight and it's fine so far!
