I put the solar light from my last flagpole on it w/o any issues. We just had a wicked storm that had some pretty intense wind gusts and dropped about four inches of rain. The pole held up fine but the rope snapped an inch or so where I tied the knot. I made fresh cuts on the rope, seared the ends and tied a new knot. While I was snugging up the knot I could hear the rope tearing, I pulled a bit harder and it broke. Grabbed a spot several inches from the end and repeated the process with the same results.
