The 4WTA-B is a 4-wire, photoelectric i3 smoke detector with thermal sensor and built-in sounder.

Review: Low voltage wiring with sounder - I got this to replace an old low voltage smoke that was connected to a dead alarm system. The alarm system was replaced with a konnected pro panel. I ran ethernet cable to this smoke detector from the konnected panel. This smoke has no hush button, so i used the alarm2 output to power the smoke detector. This allows me to easily cut power to the smoke (the proper way to hush it) for a false alarm (which has not happened in the months that I've had this device installed near my kitchen). It's working great.

**Q: Can I purchase it without the base? I am replacing a number of detectors of the same type, and don't need new bases.**
A: No the sensor comes with the base.

**Q: Will this work with dsc 1832 board?  can it be connected with addition sensors (i need 5)?**
A: No it will not. I would recommend consulting an alarm professional

**Q: Is this compatible out of the box with Honeywell Ademco Vista 20p alarm panels?**
A: yes u jus need to check if your wiring is 2 wire or 4 wire they make detectors for both.

**Q: Is this a standalone sensor, or part of a syddtem?**
A: “Either or” This sensor can be integrated into a system or stand alone.
