It is sturdy and well made. I love being able to take it wherever I need it. I have a 10 month old grand daughter that lives out state. She lives for me to rock her to sleep, but at her house, there isn’t a rocking chair. So now thanks to this chair, problem solved.!Cons: While this is a portable chair, it is quite heavy. I found it hard to put together, until I realized that snapping the left runner fist, made all of the difference. So it’s not bad, once you know that. The paint came off of the bottom of the runners, the first time that I used it. It is large, sturdy, has a nice deep rock and is great for the outdoors. Two flaws... 1-the seat is a few inches to short and it seriously cuts into the back of my thighs. 2-you will never be seated upright, it tips back too far for comfort.
