## Description

Do you have vertical sliding vinyl windows with loose-fitting, worn or missing locks? Besides adding a “new look” to your vinyl windows with a fresh set of locking hardware, these sash locks can help add peace of mind by restoring the security features on your vertical sliding vinyl windows. These locks can mount on most single-hung and double-hung vertical sliding windows constructed of vinyl. Each lock features a cam-type mechanism that is designed to draw the keeper in firmly towards the lock, providing your windows with tighter seals, better weatherizing, and increased security. They are constructed of durable diecast zinc, and come in a corrosion-resistant, industry standard white-painted finish to match other existing hardware that may already be in the home. Depending on the size of the sash, these locks can be used as singles or in pairs. Each set includes one lock and keeper, installation fasteners and simple instructions. Installation of these sash locks is easy and can be done with a simple handheld Phillips head screwdriver. **Q: Is the smaller side designed to fit on a slant?**
A: I shimmed the smaller side since the window doesn't close evenly. You need to be level for the latch to work properly. But it is a good latch for a double hung wood window.

**Q: can these be used with wood sashes, or only vinyl?**
A: Absolutely.  I've used them exclusively on wood windows for my last two houses.

**Q: I have one large window with two Vertical sliding windows so is there a left and right lock? So when locked it points in same direction?**
A: No, this sash lock does not have a right and left handed levers.

**Q: Will these fit oem champion windows that are 20 years old or more? i am unable to measure the locks currently to see if a "match".**
A: There are no cross reference for manufactures on this item. Measure the center to center of the mounting holes and the backset from the edge of the window to the mounting holes. Compare those dimensions to the line drawing at the top of web page.
